Stacey's Mom DOES Have it Goin' On
OMG my friends. I forgot exactly how good strenuous physical acticity makes me feel. It's almost one AM and I'm totally jazzed. Heh, jazzed. I'm so 80's. I've been painting a windowless bathroom for the past few hours and yeah I'm dripping in sweat and covered in paint but I feel flippin' fantastic. It's getting there. I'm actually excited to clean the toilet and scrub the mildew off the shower because it's going to look SO good when I'm done.
I've been rocking my Dell Jukebox (take THAT crappy Ipods!) and a song that holds a lot of emotion for me came on. I got to thinking . (Deleted Stuff)
</semi-deep stuff>
Leaving for Idaho Saturday! Whee! I can't wait for the pretty scenery!

Like the Wicked Witch of the West, Minus Green Skin
SARAH JESSICA PARKER IS SO FLIPPIN' UGLY!! I can't stand it anymore. And those clothes she whore on Sluts in the City? Hideous. Not trendy, not creative, not avante garde. Just plain ugly. Like a trampy three year old who got dressed in the dark. When she did stumble on something nice, like a decent-looking Prada dress that probably cost more than my car, she wore it with a visible black bra. WHYYYYYY must we be subjected to such highly concentrated fug? Oh Matthew Broderick, I hear from her ex-personal assistant that her personality matches her face. Ferris Beuller could do so much better.
Mikhail Barishnakov on the other hand? Yeah.

Why Is Jason Mraz so Cute?
Sorry...don't know where that title came from. Actually I do, I was watching TV and a new GAP commercial came on and Jason Mraz was in it. He's so cute! He looks like a little turtle.
Don't be mad Pete, you're cuter.
I'm just kinda sittin' around enjoying the uber-drama of Laguna Beach. These kids never fail to crack me up. The most retarded high-school problems are happening but they take themselves so seriously it might as well be Hamlet. And what is with this Stephen guy? He knows all of this will be on TV very soon and he keeps lying to these Kristen and Lauren girls, going out with Kristin for Valentine's Day and then coming over with flowers for Lauren the next day and lying by omission about his V-Day.
I have to admit I was highly amused when they revealed that he was headed to SF for college. I know my SF and the college students there would have no patience for that spoiled little rich boy.
It really is the real O.C.
And how sad is this? There is so little going on in my life that I have to talk about other people's.
Pathetic.

Okay, what the heck is wrong with our country?!
We've got an insane natural disaster going on in Louisiana, and everywhere else gas prices have skyrocketed to 3 bucks a gallon or more.
Until now I have been okay with the job Bush was doing, he did what he promised and got more dough for oil tycoons. However, at this point he needs to get off his tush and care for his country. He will demolish the economy with this gas business because people who can't afford to drive can't afford to go and shop and eat out and consume, so the economy will be stymied, oh elven-eared president.
As for New Orleans. You people make me sick. 75% of the state without power, thousands missing and assumed dead, thousands of people huddled in the Superdome, and all you people can think of doing is stealing crap? Once again, you make me sick.
Damn looters.
Oh oh oh, the international community. What a joke. You want us to stay out of international affairs, unless your country is in trouble. Now that we have a crisis and we need help? Just what I thought, nowhere to be found. Nevermind us pulling France's sorry behind out of the fire in WWII (what a short memory they have) what about all of that Tsunami relief we got together? Jesus. Everybody hates the United States.
If the "international community" were the cast of A Separate Peace, the U.S.A. would be Phineas. Everybody wants to hang out with Phin, until he needs help. France can be that crazy bastard Gene.

Match in the gas tank...boom boom!
Current mood: creative
Well I guess now that I've been to camp and whatnot I'll have to actually start using this thing.
I'm currently sitting in front of my computer listening to the Numa Numa Song and missing S P. Does anyone know if he has a myspace? Does anyone even care!? Jumpin' Jesus on a pogo stick what are you people good for...
So...camp rawked my sawks in many ways. The only ways it didn't had to do with the (insert expletive)tards in management thinking camp was an episode of Law and Order (if Law and Order were being spoofed by the inhabitants of an insane asylum). Other than that, it was awesome. Especially family camp. I'd totally do family camp again.
I'm still not home though. Nope nope nope, I'm in a hotel in La Palma with my Daddy-o chillin' like a villain. Well he's here for work, but we watch anime together and eat ice cream when he's done at night. We are both massive geeks, if you had not yet discerned that.
My Dad actually wanted me to leave camp two weeks early, but the reasons why will only be disclosed to the stout of heart, who bring ice cream and good DVD's.
There are only two counselors I won't miss, and to be quite honest, they know who they are and I'm sure they won't miss me either. So there.
I miss Bangs! And my Rebels!! I wonder if they have MySpace...I should check. I have to go to Australia in January so I can drive Bangs' paddock bomb and go on rollercoasters in Queensland. Yeah buddy. Six Flags was awesome, and I got to see Bing and Worm. Worm was flippin' awesome and let us stay at his house. Score! Not to mention his little sister has the coolest TV channel ever, but I won't tell you because then I will look so unendingly geeky you will be embarassed to even admit you know me, unless you already are.
You're doing a great job, but we need you to have more energy. Here's a Shasta!!

Whew! Camp is over, over, over! In the past week I have been to Disneyland, stayed at the Disneyland hotel (w007), stayed at a skeevy motel 6 in North Hills L.A., gone to Six Flags Magic Mountain and managed to ride every coaster that was operating that day (short lines rock my s0x), stayed at another counselor's house (Worm aka Steven), watched Anime on Demand (how sweet is that?!), and been to see The Brothers Grimm with my Dad in La Palma.
It's been busy.
I miss my camp friends, especially Bangs and Squid, but I'll be seeing Squid soon and hopefully I will make it to Australia in January to see Bangs.
Camp was an amazing, fun, exhausting, and trying experience. I met tons of awesome kids, was sent care packages, interrogated, dressed up as a man for evening program, taught kids to Swing and adults to Salsa, jumped into a muck-filled pond fully dressed at 11 o'clock at night, and cried when I parted with both campers and counselors.
I am so amazingly glad I did it.

The Crazy Awesome News
Ava Gore is in my cabin. As in, the daughter of the lead singer of Depeche Mode. Flippin' sweet. Not to mention she is adorable and well-behaved. A rarity amongst these Richie Rich spoiled brats. Actually, the girls in our cabin are very well behaved. I love'em.
Other famous kids who have been in my cabin: Chloe Marciano, daughter of George Marciano, founder of the designer label "Guess?"
Other famous kids at camp: David Hasselhoff's daughter Hayley, and a girl who has appeared in many commercials and an Olsen twin movie, by the name of Ashley Hughes.
The Not So Hot News
I have an inflamed joint from the repetitive stress of teaching pottery every day.
A kid spilled sugary milk down my back on accident this morning.
My Dad and brother are in Yellowstone without me and I miss them very badly.
so...yeah

Things I got done today:
- Oil Changed
- Checks deposited
- Books purchased
- Truck unloaded
- Lease signed over
- PG&E transferred to a very unhappy (and of course unpleasant) Leighann
Things left to do before I go:
- Get truck smogged
- Pay registration
- Taxes
- Pick up new contact prescription/order contacts
- Apply for passport
- Go to physical appointment
- Laundry
- Unpack boxes or at least shove them neatly in the closet
- Pack
Well, I thought I was doing pretty good but...nevermind. I am doing well. It's only Tuesday and I've gotten a lot done. Tomorrow will be unpacking/laundry/taxes I think.
Goodbye Sacramento forever!! I will miss very little except bookstores that are open until 11, Ballroom Dance, and certain friends!
I am pleasantly tired.
